Mud, sweet mud! This is mud with a difference! Glacial and green clays draw toxins from the body through the skin. Oatmeal soothes and calms any inflammation. Honey purifies and moisturises. Powdered sweet almonds and roses gently exfoliate, while nourishing your skin.

Together, they refresh and cleanse, and stimulate the circulation. Skin feels vibrant and aglow.

For a daily cleanser:
Place about a tablespoon or less of the clay in your palm.
Add a few drops of water.
Apply to face in an upward, circular motion. Rinse well.

For a great mask, use after the rosy facial steam:
Oily skin: Mix 2 Tbsp mask mix with 1-2 tsp. water, rosewater or egg white
Dry skin: Mix with rosewater, banana or avocado (ripe).
Apply mask to face and neck, avoiding eyes and lips.
Leave on for 15 minutes, until dry. Rinse well.
Follow with rosewater toner and luscious face cream.

Has a pH factor of 6.5 to 7.3, as close to neutral as possible.Glacial marine clay is the sediment left behind from the movement of glaciers over millions of years. As the glaciers advanced and receded a fine granite type material was released into the melted waters and eventually was deposited into saltwater lagoons. Natural ozone became trapped with this sediment and over the millennia natural sterilization took place. There it remained for millions of years. As the glaciers receded and the pressure from the tremendous weight of the ice lessened, parts of the shoreline rose out of the sea, bringing with it the mineralized clay. Where the sediment had an overburden of rocks and earth the clay beds have remained protected from the elements until the native peoples of the area discovered their fantastic healing qualities.Honey is a humectant, which means it attracts and retains moisture. Honey also acts as an anti-irritant, making it suitable for sensitive skin and baby care products. Honey can help exfoliate the skin. Increased exfoliation, or renewal of the skin cells, can give skin a younger, more vibrant look.Almonds, when finely powdered, gently exfoliate the skin without being harsh.
